STEPHEN BERNIER (right)   President of South of the Border Tours, Stephen began to advance the tour and charter segments in the family business in 1984.  He has been driving and escorting Motorcoach groups to Mexico since 1993.   Stephen is functionally bilingual and has developed all tour packages to mainland Mexico, Baja California, and the southwest United States.

GREG SCOTT/Cultural Interpreter  
After completing his degree and graduate work at the University of Arizona, Greg began a 30+ year career as a bilingual educator. He is a lifelong musician and has performed traditional music throughout the West. Recently retired, he stays busy writing, lecturing for the Arizona Humanities Council and performing. He has traveled extensively in Mexico and Central America.

STEPHANIE  MEYER   Stephanie is a Natural History Interpreter and Conservation Consultant living in Alamos, Mexico. She moved from Arizona to Alamos to further her botanical knowledge of the tropics. Steph has worked with me since our very first excursion to Alamos in 1993. She has terrific understanding on Mestizo, Mayo and Yaqui cultures and a love for Mexico that you will find contagious.

Peter Booth Ph.D- Native Cultures Interpreter & Historian.  Peter has worked in several Arizona museums including the Arizona Historical Society and the Desert Caballeros Western Museum as well as with schools throughout the state.  His published studies have primarily focused on the history of Arizona's Native Americans while the exhibitions he has developed have explored the region's ranching heritage. Whether doing his own research, publishing his findings, investigating historical sites, building exhibits, teaching a class, giving presentations, serving on historical commissions or leading tours, Peter loves unlocking the heritage of the Southwest and sharing it with others.

Debby Bernier-  Debby earned her communications degree from the University Of Arizona.  After graduation she worked at the Fiesta Bowl.  After she moved to Tucson, she opened the Destination Services Departmants at Loews Ventana Canyon and Westin La Paloma Resorts.  She was persuaded to work for  South of the Border Tours. Her talents of orgainzation and customer realtions became essential to the success of the company.  She is also a full time mother to McKenna (14)and Brad (9).

Brad Bernier-  An accomplished golfer, a beginner in guitar and model student at Canyon View Elementary.  Brad's exhibits a quiet confidence and is always caring of others. While Brad can operate a Motorcoach better than any other nine year old, he's not slated to obtain his CDL until 2018.    Until then he'll continue his role in the company of support and inspiration.

Mckenna Bernier has been involved with South of the Border Tours from day one.   She's a well respected member of the Esperero Canyon Middle School Steel Band.  Mckenna has proudly spent time on the honor role in the 8th grade and has aspirations for high accomplishments as she enters Catalina Foothills High School.   Mckenna is a volunteer with the National Charity League.  She's a leader among her peers due to her extensive travels throughout the world and her appreciation for cultural and natural diversity.
